Kefir, from the Turkic "kief" describing a feeling of vitality and well-being, originated more than 2000 years ago from the Caucasus mountains, an area renowned for the longevity of its people. Babushka, (Russian for grandmother) is named after those centenarian grandmothers that identify kefir as the reason for their longevity.

The potency of our kefir is enhanced with added Probiotics and Prebiotics maximizing its benefits.

The function of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract is to break down and absorb nutrients, while destroying pathogens that cause diseases. A large part of our immune system is found in the GI tract which is also home to trillions of friendly bacteria assisting in the digestive process.
